1.3 Obsession and Radha

Radha was invited to her neighbouring advertising film company called BIRD SONG.
It was murder, on the page of, her dearest friend Saloni. Saloni, a civil engineer, but had passion for writing, so had just joined Bird Song.
But was held quilty for murder, her ex boyfriend, who was very close friend of her boss, ajay.
Interestingly, her boss, too was under scanner for helping murdering aniket.
Aniket was found murdered on the terrace of the company's building after few hours of some brawl at office.
He was found out by watchmen who everyday come to terrace to check the water tank. There police had found beer bottles , playing cards, food grill still working, which was hinting towards murder, due to brawl over some issue. Aniket's throat was slit, and as per the scene, it was being suggested, with one of the beer bottle. There was proper arrangements of party there, ballons, food spread over all, music player, etc. But when asked the people of comoany about the party, no one had any idea about that, including the coffee boy. Police found some belongings. When asked colleague of saloni's about the same it was cleared that the stuffs where of following people. Pooja's braclet was found there, roshan's bottle opener, even ajay's handkerchief was found there.
Police were led to saloni by the victim himself. Aniket's phone had some saved message where saloni had send some hate messages against him. The message suggested that Saloni would kill Aniket, if she had a chance. That was the only proof police had, so they had to arrest saloni. And saloni's boss ajay along with other colleagues of saloni were under microscope. Aniket was the last seen by ajay alive, so Police were making sure they get enough proof for arresting him too.

Radha had known saloni from childhood. They were never best friend but always had their back for eachother.
Radha knew about Aniket.
Saloni and Aniket met when they were doing their engineering. He was mechanical engineer, smart, gregarious, Handsome.
On other hand, Saloni was hot chick in college, intelligent, passionate speaker and every damn, who met her would become her fan.
Her personality was infectious, in positive way.
Aniket and saloni met at some event and the sparkle began.
But something good,doesn't seems to remain good  untill it has some trust.
Aniket was obsessed with saloni, from the day they met. He was so obsessed that he had ordered saloni to delete her facebook friends, so she could spend maximum time with him rather than with everyone else. Saloni had grown tired of this weird obsession and they had split 4 years for now.

And one day, out of nowhere, Aniket just re-enters saloni's life again!!!!

Ajay, saloni's boss, a childhood friend of aniket. Aniket just had shifted to Mumbai for job, so had visited ajay after many days. And he noticed his obsession was sitting right infront of him.
Aniket had told the story about saloni to Ajay.
Ajay had requested aniket, "don't ruin my reputation by doing anything stupid, because of your obsession. I am director here, and its my responsibility to protect my workers. so just keep your matter away from my office"

Aniket pretending modest had nodded to Ajay.
But,off course, he had some other plan in his mind. Aniket was seen there after regular at Bird Song.

One day there was group discussion at office about the tag line for soda company, Ajay was supposed to head the discussion but he qas stuck in traffic, he had asked his colleagues to start the discussion,  he will join soon.

Mean while, aniket had just come to visit ajay, and tried to play prank with colleagues. He entered meeting room, saying, "ajay has send me in, to start the discussion, he would be joining soo. so lets start it.
At seeing Aniket's face, Saloni was shocked. She had notice him, many a times, with ajay, but she never thought he would be interfering in her job too.
She was held in uncomfortable zone.
Some of the ajay's collegue knew Aniket, so they nodded off to him and the discussion started. Saloni was quite so Aniket purposely asked her to stand up and started insulting her infront of other colleagues. Other colleagues were shocked on looking that. Rohit and Esha stood against Aniket and said, "you don't have any right to say such thing about her! you should go"
on that other, colleagues to requested Aniket to step out of the room.
For this insult, he was storming out with abuses, he left Bird song,  without meeting Ajay.
When Ajay reached, he was shocked to hear about the incident.
He personally apologised to saloni.
Saloni, "sir i am requesting you, not to include aniket in their office work." Ajay, couldn't give a proper explanation gave saloni a promise look.
After scolding aniket, Ajay had ask Aniket never to visit Bird Song again.
Aniket was too furious to listen to anyone had just stormed out.
Ajay, in evening had called Aniket  to meet at office's coffee shop, as Ajay couldn't call Aniket at his office. But when  aniket arrived, he seems to be in hurry. He was sweating, so ajay had offered him his handkerchief. And then ajay had to use washroom, so he asked aniket to wait. But when ajay returned Aniket wasn't there. Ajay tried calling Aniket, but in vain.

Radha along with police were confused, as not a single colleague could give any account of party held at company's terrace. They even had confirmed that they didn't see aniket after the brawl. And had left office early as Ajay had given everyone half day due to the incident. They had left around 4 clock. But Ajay stayed. Mean while ganesh gave Radha all information which they had got. They did find the body at 10 clock, as per the watchmen informed them. Ajay told police that he had left office around 7 to 7.30. and he had alibi that is his wife, both were together at time of murder. Aniket was murdered around 8 clock. Saloni couldn't give her alibi, at time she was alone at her room, and nothing to prove so. Other colleagues had proper alibi. Police had taken blood and saliva samples from all the colleagues and where seeing of any evidence is found based on this.

Meanwhile, Radha look around the office and went to terrace, took a look at the body and surrounding Area. and said,"its suicide!!!!"

Hearing her say that, Police were astonished. They had got so many evidence for murder.

They had heard of cases were murder are pretained to be suicide,  but this was first time when a suicide was pretained to be a murder!!!!
As usual radha said, "Here is what happened, look at the hair strands, which are spread randomly from that point to this. Normal hairfall so consistent as this one. He must have collected some hair from ladies room, when ajay had gone washroom, he must have entered the office, somebody must have seen him, you may get it on cctv footage. Now, look at ajay's handkerchief it is dirty from only one square. other 3 squares are clean on both the ways, if aniket had used his handkerchief and later ajay used it during party, as it looks, he must have used other side of handkerchief, not the same, but its clean. So it is proved that handkerchief was placed here to mark the presence of ajay. And about the messages, the messages saloni wrote to aniket are 4 years back, and if she wanted to hurt him, he would have been hurt back then. There is no proof more than the messages to held saloni accuse of murder. Aniket himself had saved the messages and used it now to frame saloni. Look at the beer bottles, they are too dry and not a single bottle is full, or half full. All are empty. And there are like 30 bottles.  If this 2 to 3 people partied here and drank like 30 bottle bears, they won't be feeling sober so soon. Because its been just 5 hours after the suicide so called murder, which happened during so called party. These beer bottle were purchased at local shop of waste. See one of the bottle even don't have sticker, but If removed it should be present here somewhere. "
Stopping ganesh from looking around, she said," I checked already, its not there!!!"

Mean while Rahul asked, "then how you gonna prove that Aniket slit his own throat. There is no glass in his hand to do so!!!"

"Good observation rahul", said Radha continuing, "Look at that finger of aniket, its having fresh cut, and the beer bottle, so called murder weapon, has blood from his finger, not from his throat!!! He has slit his throat with a thin glass from some broken window!! he can easily cut his own throat, with that sharp glass piece" Radha pointed toward the grill, one could see half glass piece, burning in the charcoal grill. Radha continued, "he stood near the grill, and used the grill, to destroy the evidence. As soon as he cut his throat, he just threw the glass piece in grill, see you can see his right hand has little charcoal. He had strong will, to row saloni into jail. He sustained this grave injury on throat still managed to throw the piece!!! One should appreciate his work!!!" pointing towards the grill which was next to the body radha said, "Now its upto forensic to take out good amount of evidence of his own finger print, we can't have his blood though!!!"

Amazed by her explanation, ganesh order to put off the grill which was still on and take out the glass piece!!!

Saloni  just hugged Radha and thanked.
radha giving sarcastic smile, "Ganesh,  you should have solved the case before me, the piece of beer bottle is so sharp it should have Cut the finger of killer, before he slitting throat of aniket, there isn't any blood drop, from here to door or even staircase. No other dna found!!!! will prove that!! hope that's enough to let saloni go"
Ganesh in anguish just nodded with her.
