It was sunny day. Radhika had just woken up to realise that she was late for her classes.
She took fastest bath and made veg sandwich with lot of mustard sauce, which was her favourite, without consuming much time.
She was so excited today, because there was guest lecture at her film institute where she was taking course for direction. And luckily her idol great director karan johar was the guest for today.
She didn't wanted to miss the chance to meet him.
It would mean the world to her just to speak with him.
She collected all her notes and marched towards the door.
And again there was something that gave her chills on spine!!!!
She was getting some hate letters past 5 days. She first thought, it must be someone who is kidding with her.
the letter stated that someone was too possesive with her and the words from letter made her feel like she was being stalked.
Because of her busy schedule she was not able to find out who is doing that and she was just ignoring it.
But when she told her mother yesterday about this letters, her mother got worried and asked her to contact nearby police officials so that there won't be any further problem.
She was doubting that this Letters may be from her ex psycho boyfriend sachin, who was currently undertaking medical treatment at some hospital.
They were together for like 6 months, and when she found out that there was some mental illness sachin is undergoing, She made her way out. His mental illness was making radhika go mad. He would mentally harass her along with her mother.
He would threaten her by saying he will take his life if she dare to come late for date or talk to other boys. such small things made radhika's life hell.
She later talked to his mother about his moods and behaviour, which led to blackmailing from his mother.
She was totally in caged for over 6 months, somehow managing to stay away from the pshyco. She took almost a year to be herself again forgetting the awful events of her life.
She just looked at the 5th letter and took all those letters in her back up thinking she would drop up at nearby police station while returning from institute.
She normally takes bus to college with her friends to shivaji nagar, but today she was late she decided to go by her 2 wheeler.
She locked her door, went towards lift, where she met the most irritating aunty of society mrs. sharma. sharma aunty was news reporter of their society, she had all kinds of news from affairs to divorce, from theif to ganja, etc etc etc.
She was kinda a entertainment for everyone.
She pressed ground floor button along sharma aunty, while suddenly came raj, he was new in the society he just got married and shifted to the new flat which his father-in-law gifted him on marriage. he was tall dark and too handsome.
from teenage girls to fatty aunties would stand still just to glance at him wherever he go.
they all had crush on him!!!!
But there was something wrong with that guy, they never saw him walking with his wife, he normally would be alone, there were no guests even when they were recently married.
Though he was too friendly with other ladies of the society.
His wife too was too silent to speak to.
Mrs. sharma tried her every move to make her talk, but she didn't get much success.
Radhika too had crush on raj, she was relieved as sharma aunty will not irritate her, but raj.
Sharma aunty, "Hello raj, you looking handsome as always, radhika just said to me you are hot"
Radhika's face was like what the!!!!!
but she just managed smiling as sharma aunty was winking one eye at her.
Raj with his polite smile said, "Oh aunty Thank you, its not me who is handsome its your beautiful eyes that see me like this!!!"
Ground floor!!
Radhika just hurried up out, smiling at raj and raj smiling back.
They actually talked once or twice and nothing much.
She just drove her activa out of gate and then towards the institute.
The institute was approximately 5 kms away from there.
And she was standing quietly at the signal as it was total traffic jam. She had covered her face with scarf from the heat of pune and eyes with glasses!
All of the sudden someone was sitting behind her seat and something poking near her waist,
"Don't shout otherwise I will poke this inside your body, drive untill I say stop"
She was unable to see who was behind her, she tried looking at the front mirrors but hard luck she couldn't identify who it was!!! He was all covered in beard and his hair were all over his face.
She was so afraid that she couldn't even say anything to side by rickshaw driver.
But luckily some people sensed something was wrong.
An elderly couple in car, 2-3 feet away felt there was something wrong. The humble lady got down the car and came near radhika asking "Is he troubling you???"
Radhika couldn't say anything but she nodded her head.
The elderly lady by now saw the knife in the hands of the man and shouted loudly "He has knife help this girl!!"
As soon as she shouted than he stabbed radhika and started running, but people grabbed him.
Radhika was hurt in lower back.
she turned over to see the guy and she shouted "you, you asshole, you bastard"
And just sat down on road with the awful pain!!!
People started beating up that guy!!!
somebody asked radhika whether she know this man... she said yes I know him.
People where worried since radhika had started bleeding profusely, from crowd all of the sudden somebody came and said, "I know her I will take her to hospital." looking at that guy radhika exclaimed, "yes please raj take me to hospital."
Police came and took note of the incident and wrote everything what witness had to say and took the culprit in custody.
They asked witnesses where is victim???
They told someone took her to hospital.
Police searched every hospital of city, but they couldn't find any girl with injury to the waist.
Police couldn't prove that the incident had happened!!!
Because there were witnesses, there was accused, there was blood on road but there was no victim! !!!
Police didn't knew the name of victim!!!
The accused was saying nothing, he was ill patient and was uttering non sense from the incident! !!
He was not telling any detail or any information of victim.
The activa they found on the road was named under radhika's father.
They found out her father, they informed them about the incident and asking if the victim is with them or did they had any contact with her, the answer was negative!!!
Radhika's family were in shock, police were confused they couldn't hold the accused for longer as there was no evidence rather than what people said!!!
So radhika's mom called radha, her neighbour to help police out with the incident. Radhika was good friend of subhi, but hardly talk to radha. But radhika's mother knew radha would be very helpful.
After going through again what witnesses said somebody told police that radhika knew the person who took her to hospital his name was raj!!!
Confirming with radhika's mother whether Radhika knew someone called raj.
Police immediately marched toward raj resident.
Mean while police were informed by radhika's mother about the letters radhika was receiving. she even told them that the accused who stabbed radhika was no other than her ex boyfriend Sachin. And who she believed wrote those hate letters to radhika.
Police once again got all information about Sachin and informed his family.
No member of his family were willing to take the responsibility of his except for his mother. Sachin's mother said he was mental paitent at hospital, he was undergoing treatment because of depression caused by radhika!!!
"He wouldn't have stabbed her, he loved her. Some body must have done something wrong with my son, its radhika's fault, he was in so much pain!!!"
Police were confused more!!
Radhika's sudden disappearance and Sachin's mental illness and someone named raj!!!
Ganesh asked radh what she thinks, she showned her willingness to talk to raj.
Police along with radha went to raj resident, he was shocked to know that radhika disappeared after the incident. He said, "I had taken radhika to KM hospital near shivaj nagar." Police had searched every hospital but never had any report under name radhika on that day.
raj said, "As I didn't knew radhika's full name I just had mentioned my name on the report for the treatment. She was taken by doctor and her treatment was started. she had 18 stiches and doctor said she will be fine. I even told radhika to call her parents to hospital as I had to leave for office. I even had suggested radhika to inform police about the incident. But when I went to hospital in evening she was not in hospital and hospital staff said ahe left by herself. So I thought that she may have gone to her parents house."
Police then rechecked the information given by raj with doctors, where doctor agreed about 18 stiches, but disagreed to fact they police matter as radhika had told them the reason of her stabbing was her ignorance while using knife in the kitchen!!! They were unable to get more information upon how she left the hospital, but where unable to get enough information.
Thus whole story was unbelievable, where the injured victim was missing and the accused was saying nothing!
Police were taking no more action against sachin because there was no victim's statement, nor the letters received by radhika.
Police had only one to talk to that is sachin!!!!
He was on bail with his mother.
Police went to sachin's home and asked for some more information but this time more patiently and with his mother's help.
There sachin said, "I never wrote any letter to radhika.
I didn't even knew her resident.
Yes I stabbed her, but i didn't wanted to do that!!!
I was made to do that.
I loved her."
After further asking he told that, "I was on month leave from my office for my treatment, where I had applied for job last year, in nearby computer based company as a assistant secretary."
Further information given by him was not useful.
But this information was enough for police and radha.
They further went to the office collected all the information about sachin.
Almost everyone in the office knew sachin's and radhika's story.
They said he was too possesive about her, even when people didn't knew her and if they said anything about her he would become hyper.
He was total pshyco.
Surprisingly raj was working in same office.
He said, "yes I know about sachin."
But he never knew sachin was the one who stabbed radhika because he would never hurt her.
He even said, "I knew the whole story through ketan only.
I never knew that the radhika he was talking about is the same radhika I was neighbours with!!!"
Now police started suspecting raj about the disappearance of radhika.
When asked radha she suggested to look through his flat for more evidence.
Since he was the last one to see her.
And all the stories that police heard had raj involved somewhere!!!
How couldn't he knew it was sachin even after the incident!!!
All this confusion left police with warrant to search raj flat. They thoroughly searched his flat.
They even had talk with his lady, she was silent as always just answering like, "I don't know much about radhika, I know about sachin because she had heard story through her husband raj!!"
She said she never met sachin.
and didn't knew about radhika's disappearance till yesterday! !!
All of the sudden radha found out the 5 letters which rashika had received in the jewellery box!!!
They were the same which radhika's mother had told police!!!
Now radha was more confused since the accused who stabbed radhika was sachin, but the hate letters were found at raj appartment.
When asked about letters raj said he has no idea about them. And raj's wife was as usual silent about them.
They didn't had enough proof to take raj in custody!!!
Now the victim had disappeared for more than 6 days!!
Now only sachin would tell what made him stab radhika.
Police again went to check on sachin and to their surprise he had not returned from his walk for last 5 hours!!!!...
Sachin's mother told them he was nervous from the incident and he got a call from someone. Then he went for a walk and didn't return yet.
Now this case was all dramatic.
First the victim disappeared and now the accused!!!
Radha suggested to take his number, so
they asked for his number and went through his details about calls and mesages.
They were shock to see that, sachin was right that he was made to stab radhika he didn't wanted to.
Some body was messaging him all day about radhika.
They traced the number but it was fake id but the call traced was near the same resident of radhika's.
Radha suggested some foul play. Then suggested to visit raj's wife.
But when reached his flat, raj's wife was out for shopping.
They decided to meet his wife, who had told raj that she is heading towards the near by shopping mall.
Radha knew it has to blow up now or then. She asked, "ganesh is there any jungle near by." He said, "yes a small jungle is near by. she said, "lets go there. I am sure she will be there."
They went to the spot catching raj's wife red handed killing mentally ill sachin.
They found out radhika in worst condition,half dead. Police immediately shifted radha to intense care, and sachin was dropped at his mother place.
Radha was right, it was raj's wife. Radha continued, "Here is what happened raj's wife doubted that raj had affair outside, since he never was willing to go out with her, he rather felt good to talk with other ladies of society as he was forced for the arrange marriage. I did talk with him about this. and he nodded off.
Mrs.raj had seen radhika and raj smiling at each other and talking and flirting at the recent holi event of society. I had talk with sharma aunty during visit to radhika's appartment.
Even mrs. sharma had expressed her concern over the friendship about radhika and raj. She was envy of radhika after that incident.
Mrs. sharma had told the story about radhika's ex boyfriend sachin to Mrs.raj,
and raj had told story about some sachin and radhika... she doubted if they both
were one and the same!!!
So she purposely went to raj office to see sachin, and without any ones notice she took the visiting card from sachin's desk, where his phone number had written. I saw that card inside her jewellery box. it had the number of sachin's, by then my doubt was clear.
She started messaging him about radhika thinking she will make sachin to go back to radhika so that radhika won't flirt with her husband raj!!!
So in that concern she even started writing the hate letters to radhika and posting to her address!!!
Thinking radhika, in fear, would go and accept sachin back again.
Raj wife played with sachin's feeling by saying prove yourself as man to radhika, hurt her and tell her she belongs to you.
Sachin was into her trap.
Sachin just followed her. Actually
she never meant to hurt radhika but wanted to threaten her through sachin!!!
On the day of incident raj's wife was keeping an eye on radhika, she followed her on her vehicle and told sachin about radhika's whereabouts. But she was shocked when sachin stabbed radhika and in no second when raj came forward to help radhika her doubt were converted into her belief.
Keeping the anger in her mind she followed her husband to hospital after the treatment she took radhika with her telling her she will drop her at home but instead she took her to jungle and was starved to death.
She took all letters and went home forgetting them to flame off!!!
She was more concern that sachin will speak off something that will led upto her husband causing him agony.
She wanted to destroy sachin's phone,
so she decided to kill sachin to clear the evidence but she was unsuccessfully in her attempt of murder"
